My deepest sympathy to the Schwarzkopf family. "Stormin' Norman" was a General of Generals and I personally appreciate his leadership. The backbone he had was made of steel, unlike some of the rubber backbones we have in Washington D.C. They sure could have used a lesson or two from the General. Rest in Peace General Schwarzkopf, your mission on earth is complete. You will not be forgotten. God Bless You Always!!!

Offering my deepest condolences during this difficult time, I'm so very sorry for your loss, death is something we are never prepared for, but please find comfort in knowing God has promised He will do away with sickness, pain and death for His word is truth.

I was Gen Schwarzkopf's personal briefing officer for two years, including 10 months as his Air ops briefer in the Desert Storm war room. He was the finest officer I ever worked for. He expected you to have done your homework and not waste his time. He was honest to a fault, brilliant, devoted, and had a heart as big as he was. I can't believe he's gone. The nation has lost a remarkably gifted and dedicated leader of the old school...the kind who put service above self at ever critical juncture. Please publish the details of his burial. Many, many of us will be there. May God bless Brenda and his children.

You and my father looked a lot alike. I came to your first book signing. I lived in Tampa at the time. When your father was a diplomat and you were a teen or pre-teen, you went overseas on the ship Pvt. Elden H. Johnson. When my father got transferred to Spain, we went on the same ship. We boarded 12/24/1956. I have always had the greatest respect for you. Your family is in my prayers.
