I never new the General. Only today did I see he had passed. I had the deepest respect for his ethics and morality, both in war + peace. A truly great hero has been lost to us all. May the family + friends of this great man find some small peace in knowing how greatly he was valued + viewd by the public.

My husband was a proud Airman that served as his Crew Chief on an EC-135 assigned to him via US Central Command during Desert Shield/Desert Storm. We are deeply saddened to hear of The Bear's passing and would like to pay our personal respects. God Bless and keep Mrs. Schwarzkopf (he says thank you for the cookies and brownies), Cynthia, Jessica and Christian. Our deepest condolences.

I had not heard that one of our country;s greatest leaders had passed on. I was raised in a military family-Air Force- my whole life! I learned at an early age to love our country and whose who served in the armed forces. So to General H. N. Schwarzkopf's family I send my deepest sympathy, love for a great man who served our country well. Now because of the great gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave us the Resurrection you shall see your loved again. Deepest Sympathy, Charlene Hills Harms
