Kind, warm, humble, friendly towards everyone, and patient. Will was a blessing to everyone he met.

What an incredible and inspirational young man who left such a beautiful and powerful legacy for his family, friends, and all who cared about him.

Will was one of the best friends I've ever had. He taught me how to golf, to smoke hookah, to laugh at my mistakes, to accept that I was worthy of success and awesomeness. He was the kind of person who loved and accepted people for exactly who they were. He was unceasingly positive and encouraging, and brightened countless people's (friends and strangers) lives, every day. He was one of those rare persons that truly deserved our trust. I don't think I will ever be the same person I was before his death. I don't know that I want to be. Will, you showed me what truly matters; I want to be more like you with whatever life I have left.

"The Wrecked Ball"
This is how the world loses a good man:
it turns to glass
and ice
at the same moment
and is exceptionally smashed
against a wall of steel and concrete
for the rest of its existence
but at ever-lengthening intervals

And in the ever-lengthening meanwhiles
it is suspended in air,
waiting.
Slightly prepared, because it remembers
the last time,
but never fully prepared
as it doesn't know
when
it will be broken again.

"Livin' The Dream" is what we heard at Starbucks when working with you! Now I know what you meant. You will always be our Barista Angel. :)

What a wonderful person. A musician far out of my league, I was thrilled and honored to have Will back me up on bass for a couple songs as I played my first bar gig. I would have thought he'd scoff at playing with such an amateur as myself, but it was quite the opposite. He was incredible on bass, not to mention a hilarious and uplifting character.
