May you find peace and comfort in the wonderful gift God has given us mentioned in John 3:16 during this time of stress. Draw close to God and he will draw close to you.

Steve thanks for your friendship over many years at Pats. The college was never the same without you and the world will never be the same without you now.

Being a Part of Stephen`s tumbling group at Patrician Brothers college Fairfield, was like being a part of the movie `Stand by me` or `the dead Poets Society`, a right of passage for a special few whom will always feel especially connected to, Thanks to Stephen.
I will never forget the day I saw him tumble across the grass in front of our PE class the first day I attended! I vowed to be a part of his special squad, and I am in debt to him that I did.
Steve, was a pivotal point and inspiration to the rest of my life, as I used the skills learned from him to persue my life of 30 years as an entertainer. I will never ever forget this generous man and the impact he had on my life to this day, I am still tumbling at 53 years of age! may you rest on peace Stephen Laidler, see you in Heaven my captain my captain.
much love to you and your family.
