Alfred Ray Bias
February 2, 1942 - August 30, 2013
Alfred Ray Bias was born in Pasadena, California on February 2, 1942, the fourth child of Plennie and Verna Belle Bias. Alfred passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, August 30, 2013, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen; three sons and their wives, and two grandchildren: Kelvin and Yuko Bias of Brooklyn, NY, Christopher and Trina Bias of Anaheim, CA, and Brian, Amy, Richard and Ella Bias of Raleigh, NC. He has five surviving siblings, Elaine Perkins, Arthur Bias, Chester Bias, David Bias and Dewayne Bias, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at St. Matthias Episcopal Church on December 27, 2013 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 7056 So. Washington Ave., Whittier, CA 90602.
