Almost one year ago , I have spoken and I want to rephrase my thoughts so forgive me and thank you.
"I always hear Mr. James say thank you to his father what his father taught Mr. James. Now I'm saying thank you Mr. James, for teaching me in the electrical trade and in road of life whether I'm combatting my dyslexia or some else, either rough or smooth. I'll never forget what you taught me, that God be-stoled on the good earth, as a formal student and in the electrcal trade and the job that I have at the MTA."

Ted James was my mentor, friend and one of the finest professors on the planet. I miss him dearly. Thank you Mr. Ted James for helping so many people better themselves from your unselfish use of the little amount of time you spent on earth. God Bless you, Rest in Peace - Bill Garlatz Southern California Edison (Retired)

I am saddened to of read this information,I attribute much of my knowledge of over 30 ago regarding the science of electricity to this wonderful teacher, he was and always will be known to me as a the brilliant well expressed educator that I admired very much.

I can still hear his lessons in my memory, Thank you Mr. James for opening my eyes to such an amazing energy as electricity.

Bless you Sir ..

Professor James gave us so much more than how to wire how to wire a squirrel cage motor. He was a father figure for a lot of us. Some of his famous sayings we still repeat today :
* Use aluminum flex so you can play with the wife when you get home.
* Lord willing and the creek don't rise.
* Oh Lord, help this poor boy from East LA.
* There's more than one way to skin a cat.
Just to name a few. Memorable moments when we would go to visit all the Dam Dams (Power Plants) campouts. Great memories. Friends I made (Greg C. , Julio M.) and myself owe our professional careers to Professor James. We wish we could have told him in person. Our heart goes out to his family.

Dear Mr. James,
Thank you for being my mentor and my instructor. The electrical industry has lost a great person that may never be replaced.
I really appreciate your knowledge that you have shared with us and have taught me how to be a great electrician.
