Pastor Burd was a wonderful pastor. He was there through my hard times and always pointed me to Christ. I thank God that he stood for what he believed in and loved our church so fully. He really taught me a lot about the Lord and was a great encouragement. I still find myself marking passages in the Bible to ask about on Sunday. I will always miss the access I had to him and his willingness to spend time on what was important to others.

I thank God for the life of Pastor Burd.

Grandpa was the best pastor I ever heard in my whole life. I know we all would have wish he would have lived longer but he was getting us ready for the day this would come. I think a lot of the people that wen to the church he preached at were noticing how he had started to slow down in his readings. Grandma Just keep holding on. Grandma: We just have to praise to God that he got be here for the 25 years of sevice celebration and also that he knew god and went to heaven. We love you grandpa and will always remember and Miss you.
