It was my pleasure to work with Pat when we honored him at the March of Dimes. He truly was a wonderful person with so much energy and spirit. He will be missed by so many. My prayers are with his family and friends.

My heart and prayers go out to Pat's family and friends. I admired Pat for the fortitude and bravery it took for him to leave the life of fame and fortune, to embark on a life of danger and patrionage. As a former desert storm veteran, I salute all that have been affected by this unfortunate loss of life. Pat stands in a long distinguished 'Grey Line' and has affected the world. He will always be remembered as a hero. Let us pray that the killing will end so that our soldiers can return to their love ones soon. My heart goes out to all of them,

"All gave some ... some gave all"

My admiration for Pat is only eclipsed by my extreme sadness on this day.

To Pat's family, you have my deepest sympathy and gratitude

I just can't describe the ammount of respect I had and still have for this man. This is a great loss for the entire country. He is a true "American Hero." I would just like to send my appreciation to him and his family for letting him remind us all of what a great man is like and what true patriotism is.

How can anyone say enough about a person who is willing to give his life, his whole self, to what he believes is right and good. I look forward to meeting him one day.

I am not a sports fan, but I was really moved when Pat joined the Army. I truly admired his conviction. Now I am deeply saddened to learn of his untimely death. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. May God comfort you during this difficult time.

I am completely speechless. My Heart and Prayers go out to the Tillman Family. Thank you for your sacrifice and service to the Armed Forces that keeps our homeland safe. I watched the story that ESPN covered at the ESPY awards giving both your sons the Humanitarian Award and it was extremely moving. You must be extemely proud of what they have both accomplished. This country has lost one of its Finest Soldiers and Americans. I am sorry
