I had the extraordinary honor of knowing and working with Miss Neal on the documentary "After Words," a film about stroke survivors. She was a person with unlimited courage and compassion. It was a tremendous honor to know her and I miss her dearly.

My deepest condolences to the Dahl-Neal family for the loss of this extraordinary lady. Even though tragedy struck her many times, she chose to fight on. What an inspiration !!!! She blew me away on The Fountainhead. Thank you Patricia Neal.

My most wonderful memory of Patricia was her role in Little House on the Prairie. That episode will always be my favorite of all time. She was wonderful. She will always be remembered.

To the family: What a wonderful actress she was!! I truly loved watching her movies, one of my favorites being "The Day the Earth Stood Still." I loved her speaking voice too. Rest assured that she will never be forgotten by those who knew her, but especially not forgotten by the One in whom His memory Ms. Neal now sleeps (John 5:28,29). My deepest sympathy to you.

To the family of Patricia Neal:
Our son was a patient at Patricia Neal in Knoxville, from Dec. 1990 to Aug 1991 from a traumatic brain injury and much more. Without Patricia Neal's encouragement and love, those days would have been much longer for our family. She radiated life and the will to live to us at that time and we will always be grateful to her. Thank you for sharing her with us. The Parents of Mark Letterman and Mark.
