No one can understand that feelings that a family experiences like one who has also walked the same path. May God continue to give you comfort during the difficult days that still come. This is your new normal way of life, forever changed. Time does not heal all wounds, but they just scab over become more bearable. Take pride in the choices that your soldier made and in his willingness to fight and die for what he believed in. The Bible says in John, "No grater love hath a man than to lay down his life for his friends".
