To the Arizin Family !!
My prayers are with all of you.....I remember my days of playing basketball at the Avalon Community Center playing sometimes with Mike or against, but a great summer workout to keep in shape for the Home Court in Philly....Brophy and Corrigan, and keeping the watchfull eyes on the gams was Mr. Arizin...As the years went by we all went our seperated ways, but never missed a summer in Avalon...You will not remember me, but I do remember the Boss.....

God Bless all of you, and may God continue to shine on all of us....

Thanks for the encouragement Mr. Arizin......

Dear Alicia and the Arizin family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband and father. I was a friend of Alicia's when we worked together at Lankenau hospital. My father and mother were from Philadelphia and Avalon and always spoke so highly of Mr. Arizin. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Susan (Morris) Elliott

Dear Mrs. Arizin, Mike, Alicia, Tim Chris and Dennis:
Mr. Arizin will always be my basketball hero who gave his time to coach our grade school team with Mr. Kearney. We followed his final years in the NBA in our grade school classrooms. I remember the Sisters were his biggest fans. He was a gentleman and a devote member of our parish. Your families are in our prayers and I'll always remember Mr. Arizin as my personal sports legend who truly touched my life and the lives of my teammates and their families.
P.S. My daughter wears #11 on her basketball uniform.

You were one of my childhood heroes. You always gave 100% on the floor and you actually WILLED yourself into an incredible basketball player, not only through your enormous ability, but also through your overwhelming desire to always give your best, to hit just one more of those patented jump shots!! May God Bless You and Keep you.

Dear Mike and Pat and Alicia,

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad. Please know that our thoughts and prayers were with you.

You were truly blessed to have him in your lives for as long as you did, and especially that all of the grandchildren knew their grand-dad. He was a great man.

With our love,

Maureen, Larry, Blake and Lacey

It has been an honor and a privilege to get to know Mr. Arizin through his sons. I know very little about him as a basketball player, other than what I've read or heard from others. I do know that he is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. Though I met him just a few years ago, he always took the time to say hello and ask how my wife and kids were doing. He was a real class act and a true winner. I am so glad that I got the opportunity to get to know him.

The world will miss one of the finest gentlemen ever to grace the earth. He attended most of our high school games even after Michael graduated. We all really would have preferred to have Mr Arizin as our coach, but I think he was well aware of our lack of talent and was better off in the stands. What a wonderful guy!! My condolences to the Arizin family.
Mr Arizin is in my family's prayers.
