Dear Paul, I was you favorite sister-in-law, we enjoyed a few glasses of good Beaujolais together. You will live in my memory for ever.

Mr. Tibbets came and spoke to my class when I was in high school (this was in the 80's). He changed the way I thought about many things - things that have shaped who I am today. I've always been so grateful to experience that talk he gave that day. Much respect and deepest sympathy.

To a truly great American hero. I was honored to know you, and most likely owe my life and the lives of my children to you and the intrepid crew of the Enola Gay. Thank you for your service and God Bless You.

We wish we had been fortunate enough to meet Gen. Tibbets---a true American HERO. We thank him (along with his family and the other military personnel) for all he did during his career. He will always be our #1 HERO.

Our sympathy to his loved ones,
Dr. William and Ruth Meyers.
