Deeply saddened by the news.Alec not only became a much loved family friend during his stay in Agra, India, in late 80s and early 90s, but also shaped the career of my son Pavan, who later joined him at Timberland.Alec and Valerie and my late husband MPSingh and I spent many happy evenings together.I shall always remember him for his wit, intelligence, and friendliness.I hope Valerie will face this with fortitude and courage.Chanda Singh Agra, India
