November 9, 2013
I met Alice and her husband many years ago when we were members of Grace Lutheran. We helped to build the church from an old hen house in to the beautiful house of God a long time ago. My first husband and I were leaders of the junior and senior league of kids. I also was a Sunday school teacher and a summer Bible school teacher there.
Alice was a delightful lady. She was never unable to let you know what she would agree with and what she didn't care for. We had lots of times to work together and visit and enjoy each others company.
When the Lord sent me a fantastic man to marry 44 years ago we were married at Grace Lutheran by Pastor Walhin and Alice was working in the hall. She was so funny. She asked my husband if he wanted to run away she could slip him out the side door with no problem. After the service she came to give us a hug and said don't blame me as she tried to get him to run away. I have several great memories to think about and now she is in her heavenly home with our Lord. I thank God that I was able to be part of your mom and dad's life.
God grant you comfort and loving memories of both of them until we meet again.
Love and Prayers,
Michael and Linda Olson
