It's been a long time since I've lived in a neighborhood like this. We were the new comers, and were made so welcome from day one. I fondly remember the interesting conversations I had with Bill when he visited his daughters family. Talking about his past, and his connection with John Waynes family. He obviously did good in raising his family right. One of my earliest memories of moving here was John, Joyce, and the kids trudging across our front lawn in 110 degree weather to give us a welcome basket! Bill will be missed, but he lives on through his family.
