I remember Mayor Koch standing on line in front of me at the viewing of the late assemblyman Anthony Genovese. When the ushers came to him and said your honor, we will take you to the front now, he responded "I will wait in line, I will not go in front of others standing here before me". He then turned and said to me, "how'd I do? I replied, "great". A class act for a world class New Yorker, R.I.P. Mayor Koch
