Those of us that were fortunate enough to know Darrell Royal realize that he was a great coach, but an even greater person during his life. Said he was not deserving of all the awards, because he was just a coach doing what he loved. But we know better. This was his down to earth style and low profile. With love and respect to a great man and coach. May God bless him ,Edith and the entire family during this sad time.
