In July of 1959, I travelled from Steubenville Ohio to Pittsburgh with the Polish Athletic Club to watch the Cardinals and Pirates play. Before the game The entire contingency met with Stan Musial on the infield at Forbes Field. My father, who was President of the Club presented a Plaque to Mr. Musial for his positive contribution as a model American citizen of Polish ancestry. That was one of the greatest moments of my youth and I cherish it to this day. Thanks Stan the Man and God bless you and your entire family.
