RICHARD WAYNE ALEXANDER Age 63, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 4, 2013 in Cherry Valley, CA. He was born on March 16, 1950 in Fresno, CA and had lived in Beaumont, CA for 15 years, previously of La Quinta, Downey and Fresno. Richard graduated from Downey High School and worked for Cal Fire for 37 years and retired in 2007. He volunteered at Gleenings for the Hungry, Jennes Park, Taquitz Pines and was a member of the Fellowship in the Pass Church. Richard is survived by his wife Carol; stepdaughter Kristin Fisher; sons David and Ron; sisters Kathy Ricco of Ventura, CA and Barbara Mitchell of Springfield, OR; and 3 grandchildren Christian, Saige and Sydni. Visitation will be held on Tues, Sept. 10, 2013 from 4-8pm at Weaver Mortuary, 1177 Beaumont Ave., Beaumont, CA 92223. Funeral Service will be on Thurs, Sept. 12, 2013 at 11am at Fellowship in the Pass Church, 650 Oak Valley Parkway, Beaumont, CA 92223. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Gleenings for the Hungry, P.O. Box 309, Sultana, CA 93666. You were an amazing father to me. So smart, so charismatic, such a solid rock to lean on. Its an honor to have been able to give birth to your grandson who proudly carries your family name and legacy. I will miss your advice, your charm, and your amazing smile. My comfort now lies in the knowledge that you are resting peacefully and I pray our souls will meet again.
