I was in Mr. Gilberts Auto Mechanics classes at Banning high for 3 years back in the early 80's. One of my favorite saying's from him was "take you out in the parking lot and slap you around a little bit" His sense of humor was awesome. He would say this if the class was too rowdy(getting out of hand). I always talk about him as being my number 1 High School teacher period. He will be missed for sure. Rest with Jesus Mr. Gilbert. Scott Young a student from the 80's.

I remember Bob as funny, friendly, always there to help on projects at the Edward-Dean Museum with his wife, Cathy. He was generous and kind and will miss him and Cathy too.
