You left us
Buildings
Function, form and art
How we frame a place
In our minds
Of a hometown
Where we dine
Meet
Do business
Graduate
Love
Make friends
For life
And grieve with them
In these hallowed places
Our hearts
One
Until we see you again

Rest In Peace Milt, and thank-you for all of your gifts.

I contacted Milt several years ago as a cold genealogy contact. He was more than happy to fill me in on the family of his grandmother Jessie Clifford Hunt. My condolences on your loss and my appreciation for a family life well loved. Lisa of Minnesota, Milt's second cousins once removed

Julia: I thought I knew your father, but I was mistaken.
Your tribute is the most touching and revealing life commemoration that I've ever seen. And, as I sat here reading each sentence, I felt Milt (my "second Father") beside me, simultaneously reading your words. He was beaming, by the way. I felt his pride and approval that you are a part of his amazing legacy. I also sensed his respect at how wonderfully you and your sister tended to him during his final days. If only all fathers could be gifted with such offspring…it would undoubtedly be a more compassionate world! I believe Milt will always remain on the Hunt farm…in the trees, the deer, and the grass…smiling upon you whenever you drive up that road for another visit.

Rest In Peace, Milt. Your legacy lives on in your beautiful daughters and your work. I was honored to know you.
