Ron was a great man! I have never heard a bad word from him about anybody. He took care of my mom and pamela's mom for years, with furnace oil. I am sad that he is gone. We will miss seeing his smiling face! Good Bye to a really nice man.

There are so many memories of growing up with Ronnie - beginning back in grade school. Ron was such a fixture in Port Townsend - always quick with the wave and smile from his car or work truck. Rest easy Ronnie! I'll miss you friend. The memories of all the good times we had will stay with me forever!

Words fall short of expressing my feelings on the loss of Ron Thomas. I have known Ron, well, since the day I was born, and he is part of every memory I have of my young childhood. He was my dad's best friend of 50 years, but more than that he was our family.
Ron had a few nicknames for me, he used to call me "gopher," all though I still don't know why...
But mostly I remember "kiddo," those were words I knew I would hear whenever I saw Ron. He would always greet me with, "Hey kiddo," and it didn't matter what age, even at 40 years old to Ron I was always "kiddo."
There will always be a special place in my heart for Ron, as he was such a big part of my life growing up. So, thank you Ron for all the laughter, support, guidance and love you gave to me and my family. You will be greatly missed, but I feel so blessed that you were part of my life and this "kiddo" will cherish and hold on to all those memories forever.
