Knew Al some years ago when involved with youth sports. He was a very dedicated, sincere and energetic participant. A decent person. Condolences to Mark and the family.

Al was a very sweet and kind man. He will be greatly missed. He was a great boss.
I worked for Al at Commonwealth Mailing until he retired. I started there June of 1989, 2 weeks before my 19th birthday. I knew his wonderful wife, Joyce, too. Back then, we didn't have eye or dental insurance. But he did try to take care of the employees at Christmas that worked hard and cared about the company.
I had invited him and Joyce to my wedding in 1998. They didn't come, but he gave me the most beautiful cut glass vase that he found on one of his many antiquing ventures. I still have it and treasure it to this day. I will never forget Al and the opportunities he gave me to advance myself within his company.
He really did tell a lot of corny jokes!
