Bertha May (Wallace) Snyder, 96, of Duncannon, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at her residence. She was the widow of William A. Snyder. Born on December 13, 1921 in New Bloomfield, she was a daughter of the late George and Florence Wallace.
Bertha worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the Department of Health and Welfare. She a member of the former Asbury United Methodist Church, the VFW and Legion Auxiliary club and the Union.
Bertha is survived by son, William E. Snyder and wife Diane; sister, Mary Smith and husband Paul; granddaughter, Holly Kibler and husband James; great grandson, Brian Snyder. She was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Suzanne Snyder; grandson, William H. Snyder; brothers, Paul Middleton and John Wallace; sister, Bess Shaffer.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Bloomfield Cemetery, South Church Street, New Bloomfield, PA 17068. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ronald C.L.
