Brooke went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 26, 2014. She was born and raised in Hummelstown where she graduated from the old Hummelstown High School. She played on the Jr. Varsity and Sr. Varsity basketball team and was a majorette in the school's marching band for 3 years. She enjoyed going to her many class reunions and keeping in touch with some old school friends through the years. After graduation she moved to Elizabethtown where she married and raised three sons. She enjoyed all outside activities, sports, yard sales, yard work, family picnics and crossword puzzles. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and everyone knew not to call her whenever their game was on T.V.! She was preceded in death by her second husband Tom Robertson as well as her oldest son Jeff Hayes who made her so very proud after serving 25 years in the U.S. Coast Guard. She is survived by her two remaining sons Herb (Marie) Hayes of Elizabethtown and Greg (Jen) Hayes of Spring Grove, PA; four grandchildren Austin (Kristin), Kristen (Phil), Lily, and Sarah of Elizabethtown; a great-grandchild Finley; many nieces and nephews and some dear friends she cherished. She was a past member of Stoverdale United Methodist Church and most recently attended Swatara Hill Church.
