“ Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. ” -- Psalms 116:15 Each person, who knows the Lord, is promised eternal life, peace and no sorrow of this life ever again; however, it is those left behind that miss their loved one that leave a large void. The peace of knowing that a reunion is in the near future for those who know Jesus Christ as their Savior, gives peace, hope and promise. I know Garry's family console each other with those promises. Time does heal the pain of temporary loss, but those, who have the Lord, know a tender love and compassion that passes all human understanding and capability.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Garry. He and I graduated from Cumberland Valley in 1966. I remember kidding him that he had the longest bus route in the school district. Garry and I went our ways after graduation and reconnected when he became involved with purchasing at HACC. To my surprise, he changed very little and over the past number of years we shared many good stories and laughs. I will always remember Garry as a man of integrity, wit, humor and a great story teller. It was an honor to know him. My prayers are with the Crider family during this difficult time.

I have known Garry and Mae from our Church and we served on Ad Bd for many years together and we were in the Samaritan Sunday School class together for a while. Our children grew up together in Church although they are of different ages. We have always had GREAT fellowship with Garry.
You know our thoughts on Garry's transition to eternal life. We are heartbroken for your loss as a family member and our loss as a friend in Christ. We also celebrate his Victory in Jesus. We will always think fondly of Garry and I will continue to love you as his family.
Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers and I pray that God will surround each of you with His Peace and Compassion.

My condolences to the Crider family. I worked with Garry at HACC and occasionally we'd get together for extended chats. I always enjoyed talking with Garry. The last time that I saw Garry, was when I was walking out with him after work last week. We were joking around in the parking lot. That memory keeps coming back to me when I think of him. He was a nice guy and will be greatly missed.

To Mae and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's a loss that is also felt by his associates at HACC. In the time I worked with Garry, I got to know him as a genuinely nice guy with a great sense of humor and an appreciation of life in general. He was an interesting fellow who had quite a few stories to tell. I think he missed his calling and should have been a talk show host. I'm glad I got to know him and he is missed here in the office. God Bless.
