Charles Sullivan Obituary


Charles F. Sullivan, 87, of Camp Hill died Monday, January 1, 2018 at his home.
An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner from Charles F. Sullivan, CPA, Camp Hill. He was a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of St. Theresa Parish, New Cumberland where he served as a Lector, member of Finance Council, was instrumental in fundraising for the building of the church, participated in Men's Choir, member of the Men at Malvern Society, and Holy Name Society. He was Past President and Treasurer of Rotary Club of West Shore. He was an avid vegetable gardener and dedicated groundhog relocation specialist. Golf was his hobby of choice although not always enjoyable.
He was born January 11, 1930 in Tyrone to the late Daniel and Janette (Van Scoyc) Sullivan. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Daniel and Thomas.
He is survived by his wife, Rose A. (Bruno) Sullivan; three daughters, Marirose Hunsicker (Max) of Mt. Gretna, Patricia Koch (Ed) of Mohnton, and Lisa Rohrer (Curt) of Mechanicsburg; a son, Charles C. Sullivan (Joyce) of Brooksville, FL; two sisters, Mary Shaw of Pleasanton, CA and Janette Ann Sullivan of Harrisburg; eight grandchildren, Michael, Eric, and Daniel Koch, Curtis and Alanna Sullivan, and Connor, Samantha, and Elena Rohrer; and four great-grandchildren, William, Garrett, Dominic, and Jovie Koch.
Viewing will be Friday, January 5, from 12:30-1:30 at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 2pm at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Private interment will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are requested to St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1300 Bridge Street, New Cumberland, PA 17070.

Rose, we are so sorry to hear of Chuck's passing, we loved him and will always remember him in our thoughts, he was a very special man.

You are so fortunate to have been married for such a long period of time and enjoyed many wonderful family memories.

Rose and family. I was sad to hear of the passing of Chuck. Many fond memories as class mates at Harrisburg Catholic. Unfortunately my current health had prohibited me from attending his Mass. Know that he you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
