So terribly saddened to learn of Pete's passing. He was such a wonderful, warm, caring, and funny man. In life, we are blessed to cross paths with those rare individuals whose personality, strength of character, and downright charming nature make such an impression on us that we never forget them. Pete was one of those unique individuals. I worked with Pete many years ago at the PA Nurses Association. During my interview (which was my first time meeting Pete), we were interrupted by a phone call. It seems a tree had fallen on Pete's house and he had to leave immediately. He apologized, he left. Immediately. Interview over, I hadn't gotten the job. A few days later, I received a phone call from Pete. He had only three things to say. He was sorry he'd had to interrupt my interview, his family was fine and he appreciated me asking about their safety, and .... when could I come back in so that he could properly hire me for the job. Pete was a phenomenal boss, a wonderful co-worker, a funny and intelligent person, and a loving and dedicated family man. I remember all his funny ferret stories. PNA was a great place to work, but there were troubling days too. No matter how stressful a day might be (convention anyone?!), Pete could always always make you smile or laugh and feel better right away. He truly was one of a kind. And he will be missed dearly. Dixie and family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. So very sorry for your loss.

It is with great sadness I send Condolences
to the family of George Peters.
Pete was my boss for 10 years at the Pa. Nurses
Assoc.
He was the best supervisor I ever had in my
working career. Pete was an amazing person. He
was so kind and caring to all his staff.
He will long be remembered for the extraordinary
man he was. We will all miss Pete but the good
memories will continue forever.
With all respect I honor him for his Military Services.

My deepest condolences to Dixie and family. Pete was my boss for several years when I worked at PA Nurses Assn. He had a great sense of humor and treated us all like an extended family. He will surely be missed.
