While attending the Artifact show in Marysville yesterday I was shocked to hear of Geralds passing. I was a friend of Jerry Aurands and visited your home with him to view Gerald artifacts. My boys had met him at a couple of the shows and were heartbroken to learn Gerald had passed also. My condolences es to you and your family.

I have great memories of Jere at Elizabethtown College where we were both soccer players. We live across the corridor from each other in Ober Hall during my freshman year. Living in Texas, I do not keep up with events in PA as much as I would like. Jere had a great sense of humor and was always fun to be around. Wish I could have been there to say hello and goodbye. To the families and friends of Gerald H. Botdorf. I do not know the families personally but we all lose love ones in death. I just want to send my deepest condolences to the families. May God give all of you comfort and peace at this difficult time. Please allow God to strengthen you in your grief. I am sorry for your loss.
