Happy big 66th Birthday dad, I miss you and am praying for you today.
I worked with Dick a half a lifetime ago. I have never forgotten his help and kindness. He will always be in my thoughts.
The world is a colder place without him in it.
Dick was witty, savvy, stubborn and lovable. He excelled as a consultant, teacher, a mentor, and even greater as a friend. Not only did he teach outside of the box, he told us to throw away the box. We will cherish the life he lived and lived well. We will miss his vitality and spirit.
We will miss him dearly.
Dick was a dear friend and I will always treasure our special times together. I will cherish his memory and spirit and carry it with me until we meet again.
I was very sad to learn of Dick's passing. He realy was a remarkable man, and a very dear friend of many years. Dick truly was one of those few people that if you couldn't get along with him, the problem was yours. I never heard anyone say a negative word about him. I will miss sharing gourmet meals, fine wines (including our trip together to Willamette Valley OR), and chats with Dick. Dick's strength and persistence during his decade long battle with cancer was inspirational. I am comforted by the knowledge that he is now free of the illness and pain, and at peace. Bob
The world is a little darker, a little colder, less compasionate, less kind and less friendly with the passing of Richard W. Ferretti.
He was a mentor to many and a friend to all. He was always quick to offer a hand up to those who had fallen or had been damaged by life, and a caring supporter of charities.
Dick helped me more than anyone knows, above the care and compassion he personally showed me. He was an excellent role model for fighting the good fight, and I very much wish his fight had the same result as mine has had so far.
My life is richer and I'm a better person for having known You.
Thanks for the job and being the person you are boss! I am not ashamed to say, I Love you, Thank You.
Uncle Dick you will surely be missed by anyone who knew you. Thank you for all you have done for me. Ted and Jackie Bryan.
Dad, you will be forever in our hearts. The best of you will live on in us. Love always!
I am so sorry to hear of Dick's death. He was a good buddy at McDevitt and at H.A.C.C. We had many laughs together as the Odd Couple, because I was 6' tall and Dick...well...was not. He was, as we say in Maine, "the finest kind." I still have his McD class ring (yes, there is a story) and I always thought that I would see him someday to return it. I would love to return it now to his family. Meanwhile I will raise a glass in memory of a remarkable man. Slainte!
Dick was in and out of my life for many years. Always giving and never expecting anything in return. I owe a great deal to him for my success and the success of my business.
Save me a seat my friend. I look forward to catching up to you soon.
Dick was one of my best friends when we were brothers in Delta Omega Phi fraternity at HACC. I can see by the comments here that as an adult he continued to be the great guy I remember from our youth. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to Dick's family.
Dick actually helped his friends to get to their dreams - one of a kind!
Dick is a great man and friend. A mentor for me and gave me the encouragement & support to persue my heavy truck adjusting career 30 years ago! Love You Dick! See You on the other side cruzin in a shiney Corvair!!
Dick will be missed by many.Ive known him for a lot of years and never heard a bad word about him. God Bless him.
Dick was a good friend in high school. He helped me pass trig. I didn't see him much after that but it appears his personality and drive never changed. My best wishes go to his family.
Dick will be missed by all. He was a great friend and certainly enriched our lives with his enthusiastic outlook. Condolences to the family and friends.
