Just found out about passing of Stanley. Fellow Christian St West Sider. We played and played a lot together. May the Lord bless you and keep you.
It has been one (1) month and four (4) days since you left us unexpectedly. We did not even get a chance to say goodbye or be by your side during your time of transitioning. For me personally (Sister Deb), this has been a little hard to come to terms with. But, if I believe what I have read about the "transformation jorney" of one's love one. I pray that you were truly greeted with much love, a sense of safety, protection and freedom on the other side. But, most important, I pray that you were greeted by our loved ones (especially Dad, Mom & Grandmom) that preceded you in death and loved you so very much! In closing, I will always remember the last conversation we had and you telling me how proud you were of all your siblings. Your memorial was one of dignity and there were so many people that visited the funeral home to pay their respect. And, Sister Tracy (Jill) chose the following for the marker on your grave: "resting in perfect peace"! I think of you every day, we miss and love you so much!
Debbe, Gary, Rand, Eric and Tracy (Jill)
You and your family are both in my Prayers that the Lord will strengthen your hearts. May ALL of your GOOD MEMORIES help to ENCOURAGE you during these coming days. Love from your favorite Sister-in-Law.
My Mother, Lorraine (Yovanovich) sent me the obit and told me about Stanley. My Mom attended the services. We grew up across from Stan on Christian Street. I remember playing together and my Grandmother Mary would have to come get us when it got dark outside. He was a part of the many memories that the West Side gave us all. Peace to you all, and to you Stanley.
2,the entire bethea family my condolences
Gary and family my God bless you and your family. Stan will be missed.
Stan: We'll meet again on the West Side.
Family, talked to Stan on several occasions. We always remembered our West Side days of Steelton. As I reflect and remember you at this hour. To all of you I extend my heart felt Symphony. Much Love.
To God we come from and To God we return. May the peace and blessings of God be with Stanley. I will truly miss from seeing Stanley on 2nd and Market Streets near the bank.
“Big Stan” as our family called him was as pleasant and as kind as they come. He had a gentle spirit and a warm heart. You will be hard pressed to meet another person who had so little but gave so much. God bless you Stan and we are thankful to him for giving our family the opportunity to know you. Our thoughts and prayers go out the Bethea family, as we know God will keep you encouraged.
Such a beautiful soul. I feel so blessed to have spent time around his glimmering smile and contagious laugh. Keeping the family in my thoughts and prayers.
May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
To the Bethea Family -- I remember Stanley so much from the West Side of Steelton. He was a good guy. May God blessings enfold your entire family. Bernie (Beatty) Gillis
