Wow this is so unreal, I just found out about this. Derrick was my supervisor at Wells Fargo. He was always understanding and assisted me with being a mentor to my son! Your kindness will never be forgotten! RIP MY FRIEND!

there's not a day that go by that i don't think of you I miss you so much and I wish I could call you and hear your voice....I I just can't accept the fact that you're gone it doesn't seem real...I love you dearly?

I've been calling your phone and work wondering what the world was going on why was I being ignored...went on facebook to send you a message to say happy birthday and seen you had passed away my heart crumbled because I knew that wasn't like you to not answer the phone....I'm so sorry I feel like I've lost apart of me that I will never get back. I wish our last convo would have been better. I'm going to miss you picking on the way I walked you always said I would trip over my feet lol and your beautiful smile. You were a great man and father and I'm sorry you're not here with your 2 princesses I know they were your world. Thank you for everything for being a good friend to me you are my inspiration I will never forget you and II will always have a place in my heart for you I love you and miss you... I send my condolences for your family you're in my prayers.

So much has changed within a year. On this day I would be wishing my friend a Happy Birthday and catching up with each other.....I am still going to wish you a Happy Birthday and let you know that the situation is still hard to process but I know you are watching over everyone who loves you and reassuring all of us that you are resting. Just know I miss you and continue to pray daily for your mother, girls, and friends. Happy Birthday Pretty D and R.I.P my friend!!!!!!
