To Soror Carolyn and Family,
I was sorry to hear of Bobby's transition. I have so many fond memories of us getting together with Sorors Sandy and Loretta in Philly and Harrisburg over the years. May the love of God strengthen and keep you and your family during these difficult days. Love you.

Carolyn, The Carter Family has our Deepest. Sympathy. Lydia and I were Classmates w/ Bob at WVSC during the 50's and 60's. Bob Carter was the consumate student athlete and leader at WVSC. On page 40. of the 1960 Yearbook; there's a picture of Bob, dancing w/ Miss WVSC. That photo captures Bob, the Gentlemam, Athlete , and Campus Leader. All WVSC Student's lives were made better, because of Bob Carter; We know that God inspired Bob Carter to touch many families and peoples lives during his lifetime. -- Ron & Lydia McLeod

Carolyn,
I was saddened to hear of the passing of one of my cherished and beloved WV State University alums Bob Carter. Bob was truly a great and honorable person.
As I have traveled over the East Coast for over fifty years, I could always stop by Harrisburg to a warm and friendly home and family.
I will forever miss our discussions and the sharing of our ventures and excitement at WV State. Classmate::: Taylor Perry Martinsburg, WV

I would call him my teddy bear, he had the sweetest smile, never complained about anything always smiling. I would ask him can I pray with you? his response was always aha, then he would give me the sweetest smile ever. that is
