My heart goes out to Jim's family. I'm saddened to hear of his death. We were high school friends at Jordan-Elbridge and I knew then that he was destined to do wonderful things in this world ... it's clear that he did. He was such a good person, the real deal. What a loss, I'm so sorry.

Jim was a great friend. His Mom was our Den mother for Troop 52 of the Elbridge Boy Scouts. The Redmonds were a great family. As kids enjoyed ice skating in the swamp not too far from his home on Main Street. As a teenager we spent many days at Camillus Country Club. My wife, Pam and I attended Jim and Candy's wedding at Fort Belvoir many years ago. Miles have separated us, but our friendship was cast in stone. Our deepest sympathy goes to Candy the girls.

In so many ways, a light has gone out in the world, but the remaining aura is rich and wonderful.

I am so sorry to hear that "Jimmy" has left this world. It is a sad loss of a fine man.

I too grew up in Elbridge, and started kindergarten and went through high school with him. He and his family lived across Brown Street from us. Our paths only crossed a couple of times after high school, but it's obvious that be continued to be an outstanding person who loved his family and his amazing life.

I send my deepest condolences to Jim's family.
