Those who think grief is over in a matter of time have never lost someone close to their hearts. Lawrence is no longer where he was before, he is in 'the next heavenly place' and continues to live through the family and friends that love him.

This will be the first Christmas without Daddy. I played with the idea of putting up Christmas decorations as it just wouldn't fee the same without him.. but in the end I deceided (last night) to put them up. Daddy loved Christmas and in his memory I put everything up/out. I know this will be hard, but remember all the good Christmas days with him and we'll make it thru.

Sonny & family: We lift you up to the One who will comfort you thorugh this time of emptiness and grief. Lawrence always made us smile - laugh out loud, even! His love for you was SO evident in the way he looked at you, cared for you and scolded you when he thought it would do you good!! :-)
We grieve at the hole this leaves in your daily life and broken heart. Memory is a gift and we hope the memories of the life you shared with him will comfort you. You have a strong and loving family. It's okay to lean into that love and it's okay to cry. We, too, have had tears fall when we learned of his death. Keep on Keeping on as Lawrence has taught us all to do!
Sending you love and lot's of spiritual energy.
Sharm and Paul Liddick (Millmont, PA)

Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a "daddy". While he may be gone, he will never be forgotten. His memory will last forever on the hearts and minds of his loved ones. Love and miss you daddy.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
