M. Sendi Obituary
He was a graduate of Bishop McDevitt High School Class of 1990 and St. Joseph University, Philadelphia, Class of 1994. He was a Sales Representative for Arrow Electronics, Boston.
Dominic was an active and vibrant young man, who enjoyed life, golfing, basketball, his friends and his family.
He is survived by his loving companion and guardian angel, Tania Tagliavento of Boston; his mother and stepfather, Colleen Devlin Lewis and her husband, Tim of Bethlehem; his father, Donald G. Sendi of Lower Swatara Twp., his sister, Shaun M. Kovach and her husband, Anthony of Harrisburg; a brother, Michael Taylor and his partner, Gail of Oviedo, FL; his maternal grandmother, Margaret G. Devlin of Lower Paxton Twp.; four nieces, Alyssa, Jessica, and Haley Kovach and Kylie Taylor; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and all of Dominic's special friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 11:00 am in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, 4000 Derry St., Swatara Twp. with Rev. Neil S. Sullivan, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Saturday from 9:30 am until 10:30 am in Wiedeman Funeral Home, 357 S. Second St., Steelton. Recitation of the rosary on Friday at 8:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital, Neuroscience Dept., 55 Fruit St., Boston, MA 02114 or Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure, 1717 Rhode Island Ave., NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20036.

I was so sorry to learn of Dominic's passing. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time. I lost my son, Adam, over 4 years ago and although it's still very painful, the pain does soften with time.

Shaun, I remember what a great relationship you shared with Dom back when we were in high school. Our hearts and prayers go out to Tania, friends and family with our deep sympathy of Dom's passing to silence. The times we all shared with Dom will be remembered fondly. The loss affects so many left behind. So much has been taken away. God must have needed more angels in heaven. The remembrance of his dry humor now makes our eyes fill with tears. Even though his shadow will no longer cast upon the earth, Dom will always be present in our lives.

To Shaun and Family, I am so sorry to hear about Dom. He was a great person to know and I was blessed to know him as one of my first friends I met in Kindergarten and that friendship continued even after graduating together from McDevitt. The world lost a great person and I know he is up in Heaven with our other classmates that went too soon watching over us.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I am shocked! The world lost an amazing person. I haven't seen Dom for years but I can still remember how hard he used to make us laugh. He was always so kindhearted, silly and just fun to be around. I'll never forgot when my wallet was stolen the day before I went to visit Mike in Florida and Dom took time out of his day to stop by my house and give me some money, just because he knew how bummed I was, he was so very thoughtful. That's just one of many great memories I have of Dom. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this hard time.

Shaun and Family,
I was so shocked to hear of Dom's passing. I remember him well from High School. He was such a great personality and a joy to be around. I truly know what you are all going through at this difficult time. My brother, Terry passed away suddenly in July and we are still struggling through our grief. They are both too young and had so much life ahead of them. I am praying for all of you and I wish you love and comfort in the difficult days ahead. May he rest in peace.
