My beautiful and sweet Mother,

As the first day of 2018 grows to a close I am missing you and Daddy so very much and needed to reach out. I hope you danced in the New Year as you both enjoyed that -- and were wonderful dancers.

The holidays were especially hard this year without both of you -- the emptiness made the holidays much less festive and bright but I try to carry on the loving traditions we grew up with for Crystal and Shawna to enjoy. They enjoy them immensely so your legacy of love will continue for years to come. The ornaments of you and Daddy (so lovingly made by Diana) are both next to each other in spots of honor on our beautiful tree so you are my Christmas angels and will continue to be every year.

As 2017 was a rough year with my diagnosis and then losing our precious Daddy, I decided to retire. Life is so much more than sitting behind a desk and the importance of spending time with family grows more each day. I only wish you were both still here to celebrate with me. I would have loved to have spent my newfound free time with you.

I still call Granny every night -- she is as amazing as ever and a true inspiration...just like you always were.

I miss you so very much and hope you and Daddy are snuggled together and warm. Life isn't the same without you both and I await the day when we are all together again.

I love you so very, very much and miss you more than ever -- your adoring daughter,
Cindy

Happy Thanksgiving, Mommy!
This is a week late because I couldn't get it to load actually on the day, or for a few days after.
I am hoping you and Daddy are celebrating together! There are just no words of how I feel, missing you both so terribly much, and such raw feelings from Daddy's departure so recently! I am sure you understand.

Things are not the same with you both now gone from here. I pray you are both enjoying the best of times up with Jesus in heaven. That is the best possible place to be, and I pray we will all meet again one day, in His loving amazing presence!

I love and miss you beyond words! Give each other hugs from us! Christmas with Jesus, best place of all!
Always your little girl,
Diana

Dearest and most amazing Mother,

I miss you every day. With our world shattered even more, on August 23, I just feel am operating at a "do what I need to do" and it stops there. I ache to see both you and Daddy again. I ache to be able to smile and actually feel it; and that changed with the loss of both you and Daddy. I chose to believe that you are both together, looking over your 6 adoring children that no matter ages, we still need and love you with every breathe we take. Thanksgiving was hard and Christmas will be even harder.

I talk to both of you often and pray that I can see you in my dreams. I am perpetually sad and not sure how to really not feel that way when the two people that were your rocks are not able to give you advice, listen, and just be there to give hugs when you need them, or hug them just because you want to.

I love you both so very much and hope to see you again one day.

Loving, missing, aching to see you and hear your voice.
