Lorie and I will miss Mil so much,. She was such a lovely lady and did so much for anyone around her. She was a true princess and was a great Finance Corps lady. She was indeed a real role model to many.

Mil was my mother's best friend and a sort of second mother to my sister and me. She brought so much laughter and joy to the three of us and became a family member. Mil was a very interesting and lovely lady with many stories to share from her world travels and dear friends she met along the way. She loved life dearly , and I'm grateful for the ups and downs of the "golden years" she and my mother shared together. Our phone conversations always ended with "I love you", and I will miss hearing those words from our sweet gal, Mil.

Aunt Mildred you will be missed. I remember the wonderful times spent together, while in Washington, D.C., with you and Uncle Joe. I remember with fondness you and Uncle Joe taking me to the Officer Club for lunch when I was 16. You had a passion for service; a passion for travel. With love and respect. Your nephew.
