Dear Edna - she was a beautiful person inside and out - she was a special lady, so kind and thoughtful and fun! She raised her daughter Shirl to be just as loving, kind and thoughtful. ❤ She loved visiting my horses, especially Duke - I always told her, Duke was her horse, I'll just keep him for her! We miss you and love you - I know you are watching over us and your dear daughter - until we meet again.

This candle is for you, Mom, because you were always the light of my life. You were the best mother I could have had and you will be a loving presence in my heart for the remainder of my life. Until we meet again in Heaven, I love you.

I worked with Edna when she worked at Highmark and she was always a joy to work with. We would "race" out to the parking lot so we could get out before the other cars and she had a good 30+ years on me, high heels and all and at times would beat me to our cars!
Such a free spirit! Her laughter and smiles are still in my memory bank after all those years!
My sincere condolences to Shirl and her family.

I sat with Edna in church and enjoyed her sparkling personality and the beautiful dresses she always wore. Peace be with you Shirl, I know you will miss her terribly.
