Just want to say that you will remain in my heart for the rest of my days here on Earth. I miss you so very much...
I went to Nursing school with Arlene and have seen her off and throughout the years. I am truly heartbroken. I will never forget you, Teresa and I and the times we shared. Much love to her family. God, you've got a good one. Keep her safe in your embrace.
My beautiful daughter-in-law, you were an angel on earth and surely an angel in heaven. I loved you like a daughter and I will miss you so much. Thank you for loving my son with all your heart! You were the love of his life. You were an awesome daughter, sister and most importantly a wonderful Mom to my grandchildren. I will always hold you in a special place in my heart.
Rodney, I am so very sorry to hear of Arlene's passing. I know that she fought a good fight with you standing by her side. Know that I will be praying for you and your family as you continue on with your lives. I pray God's blessings and the peace that only He can give on each of you.
Rodney & Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Arlene was a beautiful person from the inside out. I know how much it hurts, I too, just lost my mother to cancer on June 3rd. I pray that Our awsome God will comfort you too as he has been to me. Love and time will heal (Our) broken hearts....May God bless you all!!!
Dear Rodney, My thoughts and prayers have been with you and Arlene , and are with you and your family at this time.
Even though I never met Arlene, I've heard wonderful things about her. God will give you the strength and her memories will give you a smile. God bless you always.
Thank you for the helping me in my work .
I was deeply saddened when I heard of Arlene' s passing. When we worked together at Baptist Behavioral Medicine, you always knew Arlene was coming, because the rays beaming from her beautiful smile preceded her! We shared many good laughs together and many meals ordered in while working very busy shifts together. She was too young to die, but the Lord had better plans for her. To all of her family, you loss is GREAT, but your memories are treasures. You will be in my prayers.
Sent with much love,
Rodney, You and your family are in my prayers. May God continue to bless and keep you in your time of sorrow. Arlene was a beautiful person. She will always be remembered for that smile she gave to all.

I had the honor of working with Arlene and grew to appreciate her many wonderful qualities. My prayers and thoughts are with her family who now have to struggle to live without her.
You and your family are and will always be in my daily prayers. I loved Mrs. Arlene so much! Even on my bad days, seeing her made me smile. She lit up a room everytime she entered and she will be greatly missed. May God grant healing, peace and understanding you and your family as you continue to go on with your daily lives. Rest In Peace Mrs. Arlene and you will forever be in the heart of mine and many more...
The short time I worked at BMC, you were the most caring person I met. You always asked how things were going for others even though you were just as busy as anyone else. No one will ever know why you were taken so early, but I do know that you have touched many lives and many people have become better human beings because of just knowing you. I am so saddened, but glad that I met an amazing woman and blessed with your infectious smile and positive attitude.
Rodney, you have to have loved in order to grieve. I am so sorry for your loss and you and your family are in my thoughts.
Dear Rodney and family, We are so saddened at the loss of Arlene. She was a truly beautiful person for the short period of time that I got to know her. Words cannot express my feelings.
So sorry, dear friend, for the pain that you bear and the loss that you are feeling right now....May time and prayers lessen your sorrow each day.

My thoughts and prayers to Rodney and Arlene's family in this time of grief. May the memories of times spent together sustain you in this difficult time.
I am sorry to hear about Arlene. I will always remember her and Jenna sitting on the bleachers at the ballgames with her big smile. I met her through my daughter, Kristin England. I hope in time you and your family will find peace and comfort. The memories of Arlene will help you through. She will be greatly missed.
I feel honored to have known Arlene and to have experienced her fun and witty personality. I could always count on Arlene for some humor and encouraging words.
When those you love become memories, the memories become treasures. Arlene will be a treasure to all who ever knew her. May peace and serenity surround her family and friends in their sorrow.
I first met Arlene when I went to work at Baptist Hospital Behavioral Medicine Center in August of 2001. At Baptist, she often functioned as our clinical coordinator which means she was, basically, in charge of all the units during our shift in the evening.
In addition to being very lovely, I quickly came to the conclusion that Arlene was one of the nicest, most intelligent, kind, and least mean spirited people that I have ever met in my entire life.
My wife, Dianne Thompson, who I met and married while working for Baptist Hospital (an who still works at the Behavioral Medicine Center), shares my opinions of Arlene completely.
Another lady who worked as our clinical coordinator at Baptist hospital, and who died herself recently at the age of 81, Mrs. Jackie Catches, also shared a very fond opinion of Arlene and greatly appreciated her. It is my hope that Arlene and miz Jackie are now together in what I am sure is a most favorable place.
From my wife, Dianne, and I let me once again express our love and our condolences to Rodney and to all of Arlene's family.
May the light of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, shine upon her and may she rest in perpetual peace.
How in the world do you say goodbye to someone who meant so much to so many? I instead will choose to say I will see you in the kindness of others, the beautiful faces of your children, the good in the world around me. Your kindness, beautiful smile and infectious laugh got us through many a rough spots in nursing school and life beyond. I will always be grateful for the time I spent with you - and know that we will meet again my beautiful friend. We all will miss your presence in our lives. ? Teresa

She could disarm an angry patient with a smile and I knew she had my back when times were tough. She was about as nice as a person could be. I can still hear her laugh.
I will always remember your smile as if I'd just seen it yesterday. Your smile and laughter will remain with us all. Peace be with you and your loved ones.
Arlene, I am truly honored to have called you 'friend.' You are the sweetest, kindest person I have ever met. Never in the years that I have known you have I ever heard you say a bad word about anyone. Always cheerful, loving, kind. Always there with words of encouragement, always putting the needs and feelings of others before your own. You were a good person, great friend, loving wife and a phenomenal, adoring mother. A light went out in the world last night, but heaven welcomed its newest angel. You will never be forgotten. Your spirit lives on in those two beautiful children of yours. Rest in peace sweet friend, until we meet again.
It brought tears to my eyes when I saw the obituary. My prayers go out to you. Arlene was a blessing and will be sorely missed. I'm thankful that my life was touched by her.

You will hold a special place in all of our hearts, and we can't wait to see how well you have decorated heaven! We love you sweet Angel.
Arlene, your smile easily lit up every room you entered. You had an ability to stay calm & positive. Prayers are with your family.
Arlene, your spirit here on earth lives on...Dawn
It's hard to decide what to say when there were so many wonderful qualities about Arlene. Mother, daughter, wife, sister, friend and nurse. I knew her first as a nurse and definitely a friend. She was the first person to befriend me when I started at Baptist as my charge nurse. She made me believe in myself as a person and a nurse and was always there to rely on. I have never met anyone more capable and compassionate and in love with their profession. I'm not going to lie; I am devastated. The world is missing a wonderful person who will never be forgotten and I dedicate my continued dedication to nursing in her honor.
Arlene, There was a beautiful sunset for you this evening. The world lost some of its light last night. You were an angel physically while on earth. Now you are an angel spiritually. May God be with all those who love and miss you until you all meet again. Thank you for sharing yourself with so many.
You were truly an Angel on Earth! Always at the ready with a smile, kind words of encouragement, or a helping hand. I know you will now watch over those you love from Heaven. My heart goes out to your loving husband, your beautiful children, both of your families, and your closest friends, for they are the ones who will be struggling as they learn to live without your daily presence. You will be missed so much... until we meet again sweet friend. XOXO
