Chief Clark (ADJC) was my Flight Line Chief at NAS Sanford/and aboard the USS Saratoga on a Med Cruise (1960's). He was a spirited individual as I recall, I stll think about him every once in a while because he always thought I could do better. Well, I became a MCPO, so I can say I didn't disappoint him although he didn't know that.
I have just learned of the death of Donald Clark. I am very sorry. Please accept my sincere condolences.
Huey, D. was a good friend of my father, Milton Tucker, and my mother Virginia Tucker. When I was born my father decided to name me after Donald Clark. I have always felt honored. He was a good man.
Don and I worked together at Ransom for a number of years; he had great integrity, professionalism and tremendous compassion for children who were less fortunate than others. Don never shied away from any task and was a great team player. I am saddened to hear of his death but what a great life he lived. He was an excellent example to all. God bless his family. Rest in peace, Don.
