To many you were known as Earl, but to me you were always my uncle Pee wee. I always knew when I saw you, I was gonna get a " Hey darlin" with a big hug and a whiskers kiss on the cheek. When you smiled, so did your eyes. I always knew how much you loved me and my family. Because you we're always genuine about who you were and how you felt. I will truly miss you, but I do find comfort in knowing that you're with mom mom. Aunt Patti, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
You weren't really my uncle, but that's what I called you, and I didn't get to see you much as I was growing up, but I always knew you were family. Everytime I did spend time with you, I enjoyed it. I remember you being funny and such a loving person to be around. We miss you already, but it is comforting to know that you and my grandmother (Florence Jones) are watching over us from heaven with no more pain and suffering. She had a sense of humor too so I'm sure you two are cutting jokes up there. You were special to us and we love and miss you.

You guys have aspecial bond that continues. Please know that we all are here for Aunt Patti whenever she needs us. PS. I love you and will miss you. Thank you for making my Aunt Patti happy. You did it when no one elese could. Miis you

I had the honor of getting to know Earl and Patti this last couple of years and I could feel the love between them the time 1st time I met them. Earl you will be missed by the members of AMVETS Post 292 and myself. I loved coming to work at the post and seeing you both sitting there, Earl with that big smile on his face even though you always left within minutes of me coming on because you had your fill and were headed to the house to eat whatever earl had concocked for dinner. Great people, Patti can't wait to see your smiling face back in your seat again. Love AMVETS post 292 Manager.
Only have known you and Earl for short time but always enjoyed seeing both of you at the Am Vets and D&R just about every week at the Toy Machine! It was a pleasure seeing and talking to Earl. He always had a smile on his face and I could tell you were the joy of his life. I pray in time, you rest knowing he's in a better place. My wife Debra and I will continue to pray for you and your family.
I look forward to seeing you in the weeks and years ahead!

One of Earl's comments to me when I first met him on a construction project nearly 30 years ago was “we are not here to make friends, we are here to make money”. I often kidded him about that statement as he became a great friend to me. He taught me so much in the two years we spent on that project and I quickly realized he was like that with everyone. I looked forward to going to work just to be in his company.
I was disappointed when Earl moved to Pensacola, but was honored that he and Patti still made it to our wedding in Pennsylvania. I am grateful my wife and daughter both met and knew Earl with visits to Deal Island and Pensacola through the years. We all will miss Earl terribly.

Brother you have left a whole in my heart that will never be filled. My heart will always ache for you on this side but my peace is that we will see each other again. You were my sounding block and loved me unconditional and I treasure the times we spent together and the closeness we shared. Thank you Patti for taking such good care of him!
Uncle Earl...we know you are now one of Gods Angels watching over each of us. Thank you for the joy you gave to us all! You are forever in our hearts!
Dear Earl. Lighting a candle for you seems so insignificant when I truly believe you are in the land of an unclouded sky. However, because we need your light to shine on here for the rest of us, I light this candle in remembrance of the great times and because I love you. We will miss you for a long, long time. Jan
Earl will be greatly missed. He was a great friend and neighbor. He loved to fish, marker 110 on the bay bridge will always be his spot.
