Rest in Peace, Maureen and Thank You...Ray Simons, FDNY-EMS (Ret.)
I hope Maureen finds peace. What we need to remember abut Maureen & Paramedics,Police & Fire Depts. when a disaster happens, These Hero's think about the "VICTIMS" NOT Themselves. They give NO thought to their personal safety, she wanted to save LIVES.
Truly saddened to hear of Maureen's pre-mature passing. She was our Life Flight "Mom" to many of us who served on the flight crew over the years. I will always value the years I worked with and for Maureen -- she was a great teacher, flight nurse, boss, and co-worker. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
My heartfelt sympathy to Maureen's family. May her light continue to shine for a long time.
I knew Maureen when she first started working at Baptist ER in the 1970's. I oriented her to the ER and worked with her for many years. She was a very kind, wonderful person and fantastic nurse! I am so sorry to hear of her premature death and my prayers to Joe and her family. She is soaring with the Angels now. I am honored to have known her.
Maureen was a lovely lady and a skilled care provider. I will always hold her in my heart. I can only hope she and Bill are up there sharing war stories.
A sweet lady. My sincere condolences to Joe and Chris.
Dear Joe, Chris and family- Maureen was very special to me and to many associated with the PPD and PFD. A great lady and wonderful spirit has gone on. Love and prayers- Ed and Lisa Hinkle
Maureen was my cousin by marriage to my first cousin, Joe. About 15 years ago she and Joe and I and my husband, Ted, renewed our family ties. Getting to know Maureen at that point in our lives was a great gift, rather like finding a lost sister and a best girlfriend. Aside from our lazy days enjoying the Vermont countryside, I could always count on thoughful and insightful thinking via her emails so she never felt far away...and she wrote lovingly of Joe, Chris, Tracy, Matthew & Patrick so we always felt in touch with this branch of our family.
We made some farmer's market trips, museum trips, and she always had an eye for something that I might have overlooked, she never missed a thing! So now we will honor her memory as we indeed miss her, but I believe in my heart that she walks with us, and will never leave her entire family's side.
Joe and Chris,
I am profoundly sorry for your loss. Very grateful to have known her and spent time with her. Thoughts of Maureen always did and always will bring a smile to my heart!!
I so enjoyed all of her great stories of her experiences as Life Flight director:-)
May God comfort you always!!!!
I met Maureen when I was nine year old and in the years since, I have never known a more positive, kind-hearted or courageous person. She will be very sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. I pray for comfort to be brought to Joe, Chris, Tracey, Matthew, & Patrick in the hard days ahead. XOXOX - Kimmy & Family
How beautiful she was, how courageous and kind. We are all diminished.
Joe and Chris, family and friends, we send love and prayers.

Maureen gave me my start in Life Flight many years ago. I am honored to have know her and worked with her. My condolences to Joe and the family. She will be missed dearly. She is in the hands of the lord now.
Maureen gave me a chance to become a Flight Paramedic when the helicopter had wheels and the flight suits were Red Cross jump suits. She is a great teacher, boss and lady with grace and dignity. Our prayers go to the family, her friends and EMS family. Paco

A TRUE best friend; someone we will never forget.
I have known Maureen and her family for thirty five years and I feel a great loss for them and myself. She was an incredible lady with great talent and love. She will always be remembered by those of us lucky enough to have known her so well and for so long.
Maureen was always a bright smile everytime you saw her, whether on a scene when she was with Lifeflight, Or in Baptist E.R. she will always be remembered. Prayers to her family, and to her coworkers, and all from EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement that were lucky enough to have known her.
In the early days of EMS and Life Flight, Maureen was a pioneer and friend to all she met. I am privileged to have known her, and send condolences to Joe and her family.
