Roy was my brother, my confidant, my friend. He was the reason for my success while disc jockeying with him at Sam's and Kevin's. Not only did he offer instruction and support but he kept his eye on me and kept me out of trouble. I can't imagine where I would be had I not had Roy's influence in my life. The last time I saw Roy was in 2006 as my career had taken me away from Pensacola. While I wish I would have been blessed with at least one more visit with Roy, I will be forever grateful for the last visit I had with he and Kim. You will be forever in my heart, my brother.
Roy helped start my DJ career. He was the most kindest and respectful to me. Showed me the proper way to deal with customers and how to earn respect in the trade. And through the years after he quit DJing, still kept his kindness and respect. God Bless to his family and friends. RIP.
My deepest condolences to you Kim, Barbara and the family. Roy and I were best friends in junior high. His kindness and friendship then are still appreciated all these years later. Hold close to family and friends you never know what they may impact your future. Rest in peace Roy.

Even though I graduated from EHS in 1975, I did not have the privilege of meeting Roy until his precious mom was my supervisor in 1976. He was full of life and had a beautiful smile. God bless you Kim, Barbara and family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Kim and Family,
I was sorry to hear about Roy. I have many fun memories during our S/O Band Days. Always the drummer! May you find some comfort in your precious memories and strength through faith.
Remembering Roy and his infectious happy attitude. I can not remember what restaurant some of the EHS gang invaded, but do remember Roy playing the "drums" with two bottles of ketchup when one came open. Missing our day in the sun and fun memories of EHS. Holding the family in prayer. Rita Abercrombie Enderson, Class of 73
I knew Roy back in the day of being a classmate at EHS, we graduated back in 1973. Roy was a class act back then and remained that way till the Lord made a place for him in Heaven. I want to thank Roy for his service at the Sheriff Department what an amazing man he was. Roy was a Christian that treated others with Christ Love and will be rewarded for that unique love that Roy showed to all. Be at peace my friend. May God Bless and give Peace to the Jennings family.
I remember Roy from high school band and from when we were both in rock bands. Later, I chose a law enforcement career and was surprised to find, a few years later, that Roy was also following that career. While I have not seen him in many years, I have fond memories of him. I wish peace to his family and friends.
Roy was a heck of a percussionist. I worked with Roy in the late 80's at Kevin's where he was the D.J.. I always looked forward to when Roy would sit in with us. He had a great sense of rhythm and would make our band sound great. He was always so fun and soulful and full of energy. He enjoyed people and was great person who sincerely cared about others. I recently got to jam with Roy. All the talent and spirit were still there. Miss you Roy. Fly on my brother and say "Hi" to Danny.
Roy was a loving brother-in-law. Always alot of fun when he was younger and as he matured he didn't lose that zest for life which propelled him through his life until this untimely end. We'll miss knowing him and are saddened that his spark has left us all.
I knew Roy back in the 1980's when Roy was a member of
"The Instant Daddios" band. Roy was a lovely person & I will miss knowing him.
