While going through a box of keepsakes this morning, I found a copy of George's Chuckles and it brought back so many memories. I had the pleasure of meeting Geoge while "siting" a cellular tower on his property. From the minute I met him, it was if I was and had been family with him all of my life. Every time I went to Pensacola to meet with my colleagues, he made time to introduce me to his friends, his church, his favorite restaurants, you name it. What struck me was how he had never met a stranger and always wanted to make sure your day was a good one and that you knew God loved you. He was an angel and a blessing to all who met him.

I did not know Uncle George personally, but he sure loved my momma, Gloria ("Glory") Hudson Barnard, and they stayed in touch. We all loved his "Chuckles". My cousin Doug Monks loved him dearly as well. He impacted a lot of lives and demonstrated unconditional love. What a legacy. He will surely be missed by many.
