Fred: I just heard of Jeanette's passing and I send my sympathy to you and your family. She was always so cheerful and I know all of you will miss her terribly. I know you had some great times and have many memories to keep her close.

Jenny, Houston, and Betsy,
Friends from a long time ago! Just learned of your Mother's passing from Charlene Forsberg. So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of her Ransom involvement. Take care.

3 very distinct memories of Jeanette:

1) She came to B'ham and took Betsy and me shopping. When we weren't looking, she bought us both a Williams and Sonoma bread cookbook. I use that book ALL THE TIME! And every time I think of Jeanette and her generosity.

2) We came with C&B to Pensacola for a beach weekend. We went out to the beach all day and came back to yours for the most wonderful home cooked seafood dinner. It was amazing. Not only was the food amazing, but the table was set beautifully. Such lovely hospitality.

3) That same trip we were getting ready for church on Sunday morning and Jeanette asked you, Fred, what you wanted for breakfast. You asked for toast and Jeanette obliged. When she handed it to you, you sweetly asked her to butter it. She didn't want to (she said something about butter and your health!) but finally agreed saying something along the lines of 'anything for my man!'. It was really sweet. She sure did like to dote on you. :)

Dear ones, I am so sorry to learn about Jeanette's home going. I have such fond, happy memories of Jeanette and Annette from school days in Greenville. I pray for God's strength, comfort and blessings in the coming days.
