I remember Fr. Bowles and his dad, Leo Bowles. Both were dedicated to the Church and made significant differences in many parishnor's lives. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen.

I was a student at Bishop Kenny when he taught there. We would always greet each other in the hallways with "Howdy Cuz!". He could not help but stand out as one of the only domestically born priests on the faculty. He was a frequent visitor during my incarceration at St. Vincent's following a traffic accident, as was his mom, Mary.
I will miss him.
