As we are coming up to Christmas, 2013 I naturally think of Perry Como and his Christmas specials. What a wonderful singer and person he was! When God made him He threw away the mold. He seemed to be such a kind, sweet, compasionate person. They kind of person you always wanted to meet. I'll see you later on in Heaven Perry. Rest in Peace.

They say that a teacher'ither influence never stops and for those of us fortunate enough to have known Mr. C, neither do the memories of his kindness gentleness toward the people he encountered. God made a very special person in Mr. C. I just hope he kept the mold. Perry, you are so missed. how I wish my grandchildren and great granddaughter had been able to know you . RIP old friend.

My condolences to Mr. Como's family. I love the way he sang. My favorite song "It's Impossible" always touched my heart. May you feel God's presence and love during this sad time.

Perry Como's nephew with the same name was one of my best friends of years ago.
Love and Peace to both Perrys.

I was about 5 years old and lived in Port Washington. I remember he had a statue built in the Catholic church of his deceased daughter with Jesus..very compelling....I went to his house one Halloween to collect for Unicef and remember (I was only 7 years old) just being in awe of this beautifully talented man....I remember also he was so kind.

A precious loss when we lost Perry Como.

He sang his songs on the radio, the phonograph records and allowed the teenager I was, to learn to dance to his tunes, with such a joy.

He was one of the few who apprently led a happy married life and his very being, lacking of any nasty news updates about him.

Too bad so few could even match him today.

Rest in peace and may heaven and the angels enjoy his singing as we did on earth.
