Dear Family:

I met Phil back in the late 80's while working for Gray Line Tours of New Orleans during a Mardi Gras event.

Phil was a lively man, and his acting career is a treasure trove of both recent and historic movies and films.

I share your sorrow.

God Bless each of you at this time of need.

Phil will missed so much by all his fans. I have watched him on TV for so long.
He is in God's arm now. No more pain.

Mr. Phil Carey was a fine actor and I enjoyed his presense on One Life to Live.
I send my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Also, Clint Ritchie, who played his son, Clint, on OLTL also passed recently and I like to think that they are still together talking over old times.

WE GONE TO MISS YOU{ ASA BUCHANAN}

Mr. Carey was my Grandmother's favorite daytime actor. I'll always remember him as Captain Parmalee in the TV western "Laredo". May God comfort the Carey Family.

I am so saddned to hear of Asa (as he will always be in my book) passing. It was hard enough with Clint, but Asa, I miss him from the show but now he is really gone. What an Icon. My prayers go out to his family and extended show family he is greatly loved and is sorely missed.

Please accept my deepest sympathies.
