Hi Papa, my family and I miss you so much. You truly were the best Papa ever. We had so many good times, talking, watching baseball, even just going to the store. I am so glad that you had a few years to see my twins grow-up, Nathan and Natalie. I think about you everyday. Love you always! Love, Candace

My best memory, although there's many, was at the home in Spring Hill. I was pitching to Phil (Jr) and you were coaching me on home to pitch "put some mustard on it - spice it up" and I tired hard. Now my boys play the game - we've got THE LOVE OF THE GAME... You passed it on... my mom & Al did, Phil did.. we'll always miss you but love the sport you lived to play. As a grandfather, you were there for me even on the road for Mets but as my parents divorced it was you, uncles - John, Phil and then my step-dad that made extra time to mentor me up. Field of dream now... we'll all be on the same team in heaven one day! God's Cubs/Rays/Rangers/insert team... Your faith in God was obvious and planted a seed as I was a seeker for years and for decades put Jesus Christ at the center. Pam, the boys and I enjoyed our occassional visits. They felt your love too.
Rest in peace. Love Jeff, Pam, Spencer and Mitch
